Preston Public Library is seeking applicants for the part-time position of Library Assistant – Programming

Responsible for activities and programming geared toward children of all ages and adults, circulation services and other library operations as needed. Must be able to attend SELCO meetings and training in Rochester. This is a part-time (18-20 hours per week) position and will include evenings and Saturdays.

Minimum qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Excellent customer service, computer skills and a genuine respect for children are essential.  Experience working in a public library and with children is helpful.
