Hello, my name is Samantha Buley and I am pleased to be your new lead librarian at Preston Public Library. My husband and I moved to Preston in November from Ashland, Wisconsin and are extremely happy to be back in the driftless region. Originally I am from the Portland, Oregon area. I grew up in a small town called Yamhill very much like Preston. I started my college career as a cross country runner at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin where I met my husband. I transferred back home to Oregon and graduated from Western Oregon University with a bachelors of science in Psychology and Gerontology. I have a background in healthcare and administrative work. 

Most recently, I was working as the librarian in Stewartville at Bonner Elementary School which I enjoyed immensely. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and learning new skills while getting to know my local community here in Preston.
